AUGUST

New tyres

It might be boring to you, but these are the highlight of my week...

MAIDEN! MAIDEN! MAIDEN!

Childhood ambition realised - I shall be wearing my tee all week for stinky authenticity

MBV

30 minutes of white noise - seriously one of the loudest things I've ever heard, like a wind tunnel of noise. Gig of the year, no doubt and they even made Soon sound better than the Weatherall mix.

BONEYARDS

Checked out the Boneyards party at Stussy on Friday.
Was good, especially the Heine's in brushed metal bottles and hot music selections from Acyde & Jude.
The Supreme cap-pre-sq-metre ratio was pretty funny too.
Had a chat with Andrew Bunney about some exciting Hideout projects coming up - keep 'em peeled, and we'll be featuring some in the August fanzine.

You should definitely check it out - the newspaper alone is worth the trip.

What no nail bomb?

Christians are well rubbish - if this was one of Rushdie's inflammatory tomes you wouldn't be able to move for burning effigies. What does Hitchens get? A neat little slipover that doesn't even ruin the book!
